Professional Textile/Clothing Associations Reorganisation in selected Central and Eastern European Countries (CEEC), in preparation for EU membership

1.       Improve the functioning of participating CEEC textile/clothing associations for the benefit of their members and their environment on the basis of up-to-date management tools as currently applied in EU-similar organisations.

2.       Encourage the identification of twinning opportunities between CEEC and EU textile associations/organisations. Twinning will facilitate the establishing of contacts between member companies as well as the transfer of experience and will support the adaptation to EU enlargement requirements.

3.       Install vital technological tools (including the adaptation of organisation and training of staff) such as a Communication Platform. It will enable participating CEEC associations to operate as “hubs” of communication, and their members to be linked electronically with the key data and the providers of information. The Communication Platform to be installed in each of the participating CEEC organisation (hardware and software) will be tailored to the needs of each organisation as well as maintain an homogeneous structure. This will allow compatibility among CEEC associations and with  existing EU standards.
